Fans Can Expect a DC/Marvel Crossover in 10 Years, According to James Gunn

James Gunn, a well-known director who has worked on Marvel projects such as Guardians of the Galaxy and DC projects such as Suicide Squad and Peacemaker, has been in a unique position to bring together the two rival comic book studios.

Fans have long speculated about the possibility of a crossover event between the superheroes of both universes. In a recent interview with Deadline, James Gunn spoke about the potential of a DC/Marvel crossover and when it could realistically happen.

“I think it could happen in about 10 years. Not today. We have a lot of other DC movies that we want to show. But yeah, I think that would be great,” Gunn revealed.

While fans may be disappointed to hear that they’ll have to wait a decade for a DC/Marvel crossover, it’s important to note that both studios are currently focused on showcasing their own unique stories.

However, the idea of bringing together characters like Batman and Iron Man or Superman and Captain America is still a tantalizing prospect that fans can’t help but dream about.

The potential for a crossover event between the two comic book giants has been a topic of discussion for a while now. James Gunn’s recent comments have added fuel to the fire, reigniting fans’ hopes and dreams of seeing their favorite superheroes on the big screen together.

It’s worth noting that both Marvel and DC have a lot of upcoming projects in the pipeline. Fans can look forward to the release of Guardians of the Galaxy 3 on May 5th, and The Flash hitting theaters on June 16th, 2023.

With both studios continuing to produce exciting new content, the possibility of a crossover event becomes more intriguing with each passing day.

In conclusion, while a DC/Marvel crossover event may still be years away, James Gunn’s recent comments have given fans a glimmer of hope.

The idea of seeing iconic superheroes from both universes together on the big screen is an exciting prospect that is sure to keep fans talking for years to come.
