Rigo Sanchez will play the important character Dragon in the second season of Netflix’s “One Piece.” Yonda Thomas will play Igaram, and James Hiroyuki Liao will play Ipponmatsu.
The three will join the show’s returned stars, including Iñaki Godoy, who plays the main character, Monkey D. Luffy. Other returning cast members include Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero, and Taz Skylar.

“One Piece” is about Monkey D. Luffy, a young guy who wants to be the King of the Pirates. The show is about his quest to find a famous prize known as the One Piece. Along the way, he gathers a loyal crew while avoiding government troops and other pirates.
The show’s ruling team is unchanged. Matt Owens and Joe Tracz will continue as writers, senior producers, and co-showrunners. The original manga author, Eiichiro Oda, remains the executive producer. He collaborates with Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements from Tomorrow Studios, Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes, and Steven Maeda.
The series is a collaboration between Netflix, Tomorrow Studios, and Shueisha. It’s part of Netflix’s initiative to adapt popular manga (Japanese comic books) into live-action shows.
Netflix hasn’t announced when season two will air, but the ongoing cast news indicates that filming is underway. More cast members will be announced soon.
