A prominent whistleblower shared the latest reports on the release date and open beta of Diablo 4. It’ possible that we will know the official details in just three days.
“More than a hundred journalists had the opportunity to see a behind-the-scenes presentation, as well as get a hands-on experience of the game. The embargo on their impressions will probably be lifted on December 7. During the presentation, Rod Fergusson invited all attendees to watch The Game Awards, as Blizzard is planning some announcements at the event.” Tom Henderson wrote.
This partially coincides with an earlier leak of internal Activision Blizzard documents, which said that pre-orders for Diablo 4 would start on December 8, the date of The Game Awards 2022. As another insider, Jez Corden, argues, an open beta is planned for those who pre-order the game.
“The most important announcements are early access to the open beta through pre-orders. Plus a collector’s edition that has some sort of…. candle? I’m not 100 percent sure what it is. I had previously given April 2023 as the release date , but now I think it may have been the launch/target window, with an 8-week deviation one way or the other.”

I wrote April 2023 for launch but now I think that mighta been a runway/target launch window, with an 8 week variance.

That means Diablo 4 could debut in June 2023 at the latest. The highly anticipated production, awaited by fans, promises to be decent so far.
Judging by the released footage so far, it appears that it will be a kind of combination of the second and third installments of the series, offer a darker atmosphere and more depth than the last installment, though at the same time it will retain a certain affordability so as not to reject new players.
