Brace yourselves, Call of Duty fans, for the midseason update is upon us, and it promises to unleash a cosmic chaos unlike anything we’ve witnessed before. On March 6th, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone will receive the highly anticipated Season 2 Reloaded, bringing with it a slew of mind-bending additions that will have players questioning the fabric of reality itself.

At the forefront of this cosmic convergence is the arrival of the iconic Space Marines from the beloved Warhammer 40,000 universe. These genetically engineered super-soldiers, clad in their distinctive power armor, will grace the battlefields of Call of Duty, adding a touch of sci-fi grandeur to the already intense combat scenarios.

But that’s not all – the Season 2 Reloaded update also introduces two new DLC weapons for players to wield: the SOA Subverter battle rifle and the Soulrender melee weapon. These fearsome armaments are sure to turn the tides of battle, allowing players to carve their way through enemy ranks with devastating efficiency.

Prepare for a Thematic Onslaught

The midseason update wouldn’t be complete without a series of themed events, each offering its own unique twist on the Call of Duty experience. First up is the Dune: Rule of Fate event, running from March 6th to 13th, which promises to transport players to the harsh and unforgiving landscapes of the iconic sci-fi universe.

Hot on its heels is the Warhammer 40,000: For the Emperor event, running from March 13th to 27th. During this cosmic clash, players will have the opportunity to don the iconic Space Marine armor, allowing them to experience the brutal and unrelenting combat that defines the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

But the madness doesn’t stop there. From March 27th to April 3rd, the Vortex: Decay’s Realm event will descend upon the game, unleashing a twisted and nightmarish reality that will test even the bravest of souls.

New Battlegrounds and Gameplay Innovations

Call of Duty

The Season 2 Reloaded update isn’t just about cosmetic additions and themed events; it also brings a wealth of new gameplay features and battlegrounds to explore. On the Warzone front, players can look forward to the arrival of the Research Vessel mobile POI, a floating fortress that promises to shake up the tactical landscape of Fortune’s Keep.

Additionally, the update introduces the Bunker Buster killstreak and the Portable Decontamination Station field upgrade, giving players even more tools to outmaneuver and outgun their opponents.

For those who prefer the fast-paced action of Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer mode, the update delivers a remastered version of Vanguard’s popular Das Haus map, along with two additional map variants for the zombie-themed Vortex mode.

But the true stars of the show are the two new multiplayer game modes: Bounty and Juggermosh. Bounty puts a twist on the classic Team Deathmatch formula by marking the player with the most kills from each team as a high-value target, adding an extra layer of strategy and intensity to the proceedings.

Juggermosh, on the other hand, takes the concept of “heavy metal” to a whole new level. In this third-person-perspective mode, all players are suited up in juggernaut suits reskinned as Space Marines, creating a chaotic blend of Domination and Kill Confirmed gameplay. Whether you spawn as an Ultramar’s Vengeance power armor or a Blood Angels Space Marine in Baal’s Wrath power armor, you’re in for an adrenaline-fueled experience like no other.

Zombies Mode Unleashed

Call of Duty

Last but not least, Season 2 Reloaded finally delivers new content for the Zombies mode, a long-awaited addition that will have fans of the undead horde rejoicing. The update introduces a new Dark Aether story act, complete with a new anomaly to investigate and a second Dark Aether Rift to unlock.

But that’s not all – the update also brings three new schematics to the table, including the Mags of Holding, keys for the Blood Burner bike, and the V-R11 Wonder Weapon. And if that wasn’t enough, players will also have to contend with the fearsome Keres, a warlord boss described as a chemical warfare specialist, adding yet another layer of challenge to the already intense Zombies experience.

As the Season 2 Reloaded update looms on the horizon, it’s clear that Call of Duty is about to undergo a cosmic transformation unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. From the arrival of the iconic Space Marines to the introduction of new gameplay modes and battlegrounds, this midseason update promises to keep players on the edge of their seats, immersed in a world where the boundaries of reality are constantly being pushed and redefined.
