Somewhat surprisingly, Chucky, a series inspired by the cult horror film of the same name, for which Don Mancini is responsible, turned out to be one of the best-rated series that debuted last year.
For that reason, it was quickly decided to order a second season of the story, and we have now learned when it will debut – in fact, the new episodes will be available from October 5 this year.
Chucky’s plot begins with a sale, where a teenage boy named Jack (played by Zackary Arthur) purchases the titular doll. This is followed by a terror that horror movie fans dating back to the 1980s know well.
Don Mancini is not only the showrunner and writer of the series, but also he directed the first episode of the season, and moreover, he was responsible for the production of the last feature film about the doll, which was then voiced by Mark Hamill.
The cast of the series includes Zackary Arthur, Brad Dourif, Carina Battrick, Christine Elise, David Kohlsmith, Jana Peck, Alex Vincent, Bjorgvin Arnarson, Alex Vincent, Teo Briones, Avery Esteves, Avery Esteves, Marisa McIntyre, Antonio Raine Pastore and Devon Sawa.
