Can you still remember such a game as Ion Fury? This game at one time created quite a stir and was extremely warmly received in the gaming community. It captured the hearts of fans of dynamic action on PC in 2019, and not long after that it also landed on consoles, in which it experienced its second youth.
There were rumors of a sequel from time to time, but they never became specific enough to adequately heat up fans’ expectations.
It took until yesterday – all the way to official confirmation of work on the sequel – for such a state of affairs! At a special Realms Deep 2022 show, 3D Realms showcased its latest project – a sequel to the cyberpunk FPS from 3 years ago.
The title of the newest installment is Phantom Fury, and from the trailer alone you can see that the amount of action, explosions, chases and fights is going to be even higher than before.
Retro climate fans in a slightly refreshed form should be well pleased. So what do the developers promise? A road movie-like game, an incredibly interactive world with loads of things to do, over 20 unique weapons, a very big skill tree and a huge number of enemies.
This sounds good and will probably please fans! The game will be released next year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC. Meanwhile, check out the trailer below.
