Apparently, the free-to-play games are the top earners, and if one has any doubts about this, just look through the annual market reports of the games.

Actually, such titles based on the free-to-play model dominate these lists, with, for instance, Genshin Impact being at the top. The Marvel Snap is also doing well!

The Marvel Snap debuted in October and since then has been downloaded more than 14 million times and has earned more than $30 million.

We’re still talking, obviously, about the free-to-play game, which is available on PC and mobile devices. This comes as no surprise to anyone in this case, because Marvel Snap is a card game, and they have it in common that through their business model, they tend to make money despite their free-to-play nature. In the end, there’s no shortage of people being tempted by a pack or two of cards.

And as for the game itself, it’s said to be doing really well. Players are not lacking, neither are novelties – for instance, a new season pass was launched in January, which takes us to Savage Land. Some of the pass’s elements are available for free, and the best goodies will win you $10.

The Marvel Snap itself is an interesting title insofar as, on one hand, Hearthstone creator Ben Brode is responsible for it, while on the other, it focuses on fast, 3-minute matches, which supposedly actually works.

“Marvel Snap” is a digital collectible card game featuring characters from the Marvel Universe. The game was developed by Second Dinner and published by Nuverse, and was released on October 18, 2022 after a period of beta testing.
