Konami has published its New Year’s wishes to fans, together with the announcement that this year we are going to see the return of well-known brands that the publisher has in its portfolio.
Certain titles are already in production, the information provided says. The message was published on Famitsu, a website that for several years has been collecting and presenting New Year’s wishes from developers around the world.
Besides CD Projekt RED, among others, who reminded us of the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 add-on and thanked us for the warm reception of the “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” series, we also received the aforementioned announcement from Konami.
“We wish all game fans a Happy New Year. We are very thankful for how many of our productions were warmly received last year. The year 2023 is also the Year of the Rabbit, and we are working on the returns of well-known series, aiming for even more progress. In addition, more projects are quietly but steadily being developed that we have not yet announced. Please wait patiently for further groundbreaking games from Konami.” – the studio conveyed.
It’s unclear at this point which productions are specifically in question. For the moment, we learned that the Japanese publisher is working with outside developers on new installments of the iconic Silent Hill series.
