A Teaser Unveiled: The Boys Meet Call of Duty
Fans first caught a glimpse of the upcoming collaboration during the Summer Game Fest trailer for Modern Warfare 2’s thrilling new 6v6 Vondel Waterfront map.
This intriguing teaser showcased graffiti inspired by The Boys, hinting at an epic collision between the worlds of superheroes and intense warfare. Now, Activision has officially confirmed the collaboration, introducing three iconic characters from The Boys as Operator bundles.
Prepare to unleash the powers of Starlight, Homelander, and Black Noir in Call of Duty. These beloved characters will become available as Operator bundles, with each character releasing on different dates. Starlight will make her debut on July 12th, followed by Homelander on July 16th, and Black Noir on July 20th. To acquire these Operator bundles, players can obtain them for 2,400 COD Points.
Unlock Unparalleled Abilities with Temp V
The collaboration doesn’t end with character additions. Call of Duty’s The Boys crossover introduces Temp V, a temporary field upgrade item available in all Warzone playlists except Ranked matches.
When consumed during gameplay, Temp V grants players one of four incredible super abilities: Charge Jump, Electric Shockwave, Laser Vision, or Teleport. These game-changing powers will undoubtedly elevate the intensity and strategy within the battleground.
To fully immerse players in The Boys’ universe, Call of Duty’s Vondel and Al Mazrah maps will receive temporary makeovers. Expect to encounter vibrant murals and billboards inspired by the show, creating a visual feast that intertwines the worlds of Call of Duty and The Boys. Additionally, Season 4’s mid-season Diabolical Camo Challenges present a highly sought-after reward – a “Vought-approved” grey camouflage.
