In a whirlwind of excitement, Street Fighter 6 welcomed the new fighter, Rashid, to its roster with Capcom’s latest update. However, it seems that the arrival of this wind-based combatant wasn’t as smooth as intended. Among Rashid’s arsenal of wind-based attacks, one particular move caused more havoc than expected, leading to an imbalance in the game.
Players swiftly discovered an exploit with Rashid’s ‘Ysaar’ attack, which allowed them to create a tornado that lingered on the screen for an extended period. This wall of wind became a formidable weapon, allowing the attacking player to gradually chip away at their opponent’s health until they ultimately succumbed to defeat.
Capcom’s Swift Response
#StreetFighter6 emergency maintenance has finished as of 3:00am PDT/11:00 BST, and the Rashid Ysaar and JP Embrace move issues have been fixed.
Thanks again for your patience and enjoy the game!

As the news of the game-breaking move spread like wildfire, Capcom acted promptly. Acknowledging the issue, the developers announced an emergency maintenance plan to address the imbalance caused by Rashid’s ‘Ysaar’ attack. The fix was set to take place on July 25th, and players eagerly awaited the resolution to regain a fair playing field.
In addition to dealing with Rashid’s overpowering attack, Capcom also used the maintenance period to address JP’s Embrace attacks. This comprehensive update aimed to enhance the overall gameplay experience and maintain a balanced competitive environment.
