Barbie has once again claimed the top spot at the U.S. box office, raking in an impressive $53 million, bringing its domestic total to $459 million.
However, that’s not all; Barbie has now crossed the coveted $1 billion mark worldwide, making it the first movie directed by a solo woman to achieve this milestone, a remarkable feat in the film industry.

Not far behind, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem leaped into the competition with an opening of $28 million.
