This adjustment, slated to take effect on October 27, 2023, will impact users not only in the United States but also in several other countries.
The move, characterized as necessary due to economic factors like inflation and currency fluctuations, mirrors similar price hikes witnessed in the UK, Canada, and Mexico.
Countries set to witness a surge in V-Bucks pricing include the United States, Czech Republic, Denmark, Eurozone nations, Hungary, Japan, Norway, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Turkey, and all regions where the U.S. dollar serves as the storefront currency.
For U.S. Fortnite enthusiasts, the price adjustments will manifest as follows: 1,000 V-Bucks will rise from $7.99 to $8.99, 2,800 V-Bucks will increase from $19.99 to $22.99, 5,000 V-Bucks will jump from $31.99 to $36.99, and the 13,500 V-Bucks bundle will climb from $79.99 to $89.99.
Epic Games has been transparent about the fact that the Fortnite Crew subscription pricing remains unaffected by these alterations. However, some specific bundles will see adjustments upon their return to the storefront.
Notable among these are the Final Reckoning Pack, Skull Squad Pack, Graveyard Drift Quest Pack, Saint Academy Quest Pack, and Transformers Pack.
