In a move that is sure to delight Star Wars fans and ignite a wave of nostalgic excitement, the upcoming Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy series has revealed the inclusion of a surprising and highly anticipated character – Darth Jar Jar. This revelation brings to life a long-standing fan theory that speculated about the true, sinister nature of the bumbling Gungan, Jar Jar Binks, from the prequel trilogy.

Scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on September 13, the four-part animated series promises a wild and twisted take on the Star Wars galaxy, where good guys are bad, and bad guys are good. At the center of this topsy-turvy adventure is Sig Greebling, an ordinary nerf-herder voiced by Gaten Matarazzo, who uncovers a powerful artifact that thrusts him into a mission to save the galaxy by putting all the pieces back together.

In a stroke of brilliance, the creators of Rebuild the Galaxy have tapped into the infamous Darth Jar Jar fan theory, introducing an evil version of the much-maligned character. Ahmed Best, the original voice actor behind Jar Jar Binks, will reprise his role to bring this menacing Sith Lord to life, adding an extra layer of excitement for fans who have long speculated about the character’s true intentions.

The Darth Jar Jar reveal in the trailer has sent shockwaves through the Star Wars community, reigniting discussions and debates about the character’s potential as a sinister mastermind. For years, fans have dissected Jar Jar’s clumsy antics and seemingly innocuous behavior, theorizing that he may have been a skilled Force user operating under the guise of a buffoon.

Showrunners and executive producers Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit, known for their work on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and Pokemon Detective Pikachu, have expressed their excitement about bringing this fan-favorite theory to fruition. “The opportunity to work with LEGO and Lucasfilm to rebuild the galaxy has been a dream come true,” they said in a statement. “For lifelong fans, you’re going to see some things that you never thought possible.”

In addition to the highly anticipated Darth Jar Jar reveal, Rebuild the Galaxy will feature an impressive voice cast, including Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Tony Revolori as Dev Greebling, Bobby Moynihan as Jedi Bob, Marsai Martin as Yesi Scala, and Michael Cusack as Servo.

The collaboration between Lucasfilm and the iconic Danish toy manufacturer, LEGO, has been a long-standing and fruitful partnership, with Lego Star Wars sets captivating fans for over 25 years. Executive producer James Waugh expressed his excitement for the new series, stating, “It’s with that playful spirit in mind that we set out to Rebuild the Galaxy like never before.”

As the release of Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy draws closer, fans can anticipate a unique and entertaining journey through a twisted version of the beloved galaxy, complete with unexpected twists, familiar faces, and the long-awaited arrival of the enigmatic Darth Jar Jar.
