MultiVersus, the highly anticipated crossover fighting game, has unveiled a new gameplay trailer showcasing the impending arrival of one of its most eagerly awaited fighters: the Joker. Portrayed by the legendary Mark Hamill, whose voice work as the Clown Prince of Crime has become iconic, the Joker’s addition promises to bring a chaotic and unpredictable element to the multiversal brawl.

The trailer not only gives fans a taste of Hamill’s captivating voice lines but also offers a glimpse into the Joker’s formidable moveset. With his signature flair for the dramatic, the Joker’s attacks range from an extendable boxing glove mechanism to a barrage of deadly playing cards, ensuring that his opponents will never know what’s coming next.

One of the highlights of the reveal is the Joker’s alternate costume, which pays homage to the terrifying “The Batman Who Laughs” storyline from the DC comics. This sinister interpretation of the Joker promises to add an extra layer of menace to the already twisted clown’s repertoire.

Moreover, the trailer hints at unique dialogue interactions between the Joker and his longtime sidekick and occasional adversary, Harley Quinn. Their tumultuous relationship is sure to add an extra layer of depth to their interactions, both on and off the battlefield.

MultiVersus has already garnered a dedicated following for its ability to bring together iconic characters from various franchises, and the addition of the Joker is sure to excite both DC fans and fighting game enthusiasts alike. With his unpredictable moveset, iconic voice acting, and nods to beloved comic book storylines, the Joker’s arrival promises to shake up the multiversal battleground in a delightfully chaotic fashion.

As MultiVersus gears up for its relaunch on May 28, following a lengthy hiatus since its open beta concluded last year, the developers have promised more surprises and character reveals to come. The Joker’s gameplay trailer serves as a tantalizing glimpse into the chaos that awaits, and fans eagerly anticipate the opportunity to step into the shoes of this iconic villain and wreak havoc across the multiverse.
