The new trailer for the final episodes of the hit TV series “Yellowstone” has broken the show’s previous records for views on social media platforms. Released on Tuesday, the Season 5 trailer accumulated over 20.8 million organic cross-platform views within its first 24 hours. This marked a 45% increase from the teaser for the first half of Season 5, showing high interest from fans for the conclusion of the story.

“Yellowstone” will return to screens on November 10 with its first new episode of the season airing at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the Paramount Network. In an unprecedented move, CBS will also broadcast the premiere episode that same night from 10-11 p.m. ET, allowing the potential audience for the show to expand further. The critically acclaimed drama tells the story of the powerful Dutton family and their Montana ranch, the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the U.S.

Despite speculation that lead actor Kevin Costner might depart, he is featured prominently in the new trailer speaking his character John Dutton’s iconic line: “Everyone’s forgotten who runs this valley. Time to remind them.” On YouTube, the trailer reached the number three trending position and was the most watched in the television category upon release. The remaining six episodes will wrap up the storylines of the Dutton family and their control over the ranch.

While early reports suggested Season 5 would be the last, industry rumors hint a possible sixth season could continue without Confirmation from show creators. Fans looking to catch up or rewatch can find the first five seasons of “Yellowstone” available on-demand through the Peacock streaming service. Upcoming spinoffs and prequel series such as “1883” and “1923” will premiere exclusively on Paramount+. Under the continued leadership of co-creators Taylor Sheridan and John Linson, “Yellowstone” has attracted huge audiences with its dramatic Western story.
