Viola Davis will play U.S. President Danielle Sutton in the action movie “G20,” which came out on April 10 and can be watched on Amazon Prime Video. Davis is at the center of a global crisis at a G20 meeting that is under attack in this film, which combines political drama with intense action.
To give old action films a fresh look, director Patricia Riggen. She said, “This is Viola Davis like you’ve never seen her before: heroically kicking tons of ass in a global thrill ride.” Riggen also said she wants to make an exciting, high-stakes action movie showing how dangerous our modern, high-tech world is.

The film has a great cast, including Davis. Anthony Anderson plays Derek Sutton, and Marsai Martin plays Serena Sutton. Both are related to the president. Agent Manny Ruiz is played by Ramón Rodríguez, Oliver Everett by Douglas Hodge, Joanna Worth by Elizabeth Marvel, and Rutledge by Antony Starr.
JuVee Productions, run by Viola Davis and Julius Tennon, is supporting the project.
