George Clooney has joined Netflix’s Call My Agent! The Movie, adding Hollywood cachet to the feature-length continuation of the French series as filming gets underway in Paris. The project reunites the original ensemble led by Camille Cottin and is slated to debut on Netflix in 2026, according to production and trade updates.
The film picks up five years after the fictional agency ASK has shuttered, with Cottin’s Andréa now attempting to direct her first feature when a lead actor suddenly vanishes, forcing her to rally familiar allies. Émilie Noblet directs from a script shepherded by the show’s creative team, with long-time producers Dominique Besnehard, Harold Valentin, and Michel Feller backing through Mon Voisin Productions and Mother Productions. The returning cast includes Laure Calamy, Thibault de Montalembert, Grégory Montel, Nicolas Maury, Fanny Sidney, and Liliane Rovère, alongside planned appearances from French stars such as Laetitia Casta and Vincent Macaigne.
Clooney’s participation aligns with the franchise’s hallmark of blending scripted antics with real-world celebrity cameos, a device that helped the series travel globally after its streaming breakout. Filming began in early October across Paris locations as the production builds a guest list designed to bridge French and international audiences. Recent reports indicate Eva Longoria is in talks for a cameo, though the streamer has not confirmed additional casting beyond Clooney and the core ensemble.
The feature follows years of activity around the property, which expanded through remakes in the U.K., India, Spain, and elsewhere while the original team weighed how to continue the flagship story. By moving Andréa into the director’s chair, the film shifts the insider satire from agency corridors to a live production set, preserving the show’s industry-in-jokes while opening the door to a broader, movie-making canvas. With principal photography underway and a target window next year, the platform is positioning the title as a marquee international comedy for its 2026 slate.
