Excitement is in the air among Marvel fans as rumors swirl around the upcoming Insomniac Games production of a Wolverine game for the PS5. The latest development comes from Steve Blum, the voice actor who has brought Wolverine to life in animated productions for years.

He recently shared a video on his social media profiles, announcing the completion of recordings for a “secret game.” While he couldn’t reveal the title due to a confidentiality agreement, fans quickly jumped to the conclusion that it must be for Marvel’s Wolverine on the PS5.

However, before we get too excited, it’s important to remain moderately skeptical. Although Blum’s impressive voice acting credentials are strongly associated with Wolverine, he has lent his voice to numerous other productions, including the recent Marvel’s Midnight Suns and even the Mortal Kombat series.

It’s entirely possible that the recordings he completed are for an entirely different game or a pre-existing project with his involvement.

Furthermore, there are no clear indications in the video that the game is definitely Marvel’s Wolverine. It’s possible that the recordings were simply additional work for one of Blum’s previous projects or for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 12.

Insomniac Games has yet to make an official announcement about the game or its cast, so it’s best to avoid getting carried away by the rumors.

That being said, the hype for Insomniac’s upcoming games is well-deserved after the immense success of Spider-Man. Fans are eagerly anticipating any news about their next big project, and the possibility of a Wolverine game is undoubtedly exciting.
