Are you on the lookout for the hottest and newest PlayStation games? Look no further than our comprehensive guide to the latest game releases of the week.

Last week, an incredible 22 new games found their way to the PS4 and PS5. This week, however, things are expected to be a bit more leisurely, with only five new titles scheduled for release.

Without further ado, let’s take a closer look at each of these upcoming games:

Age of Wonders 4 (PS5)

Release: May 2, 2023

Age of Wonders 4 is a tactically demanding strategic role-playing game that promises to offer a unique experience to gamers. Players will assume the role of powerful sorcerer-kings who have returned to the worlds to rule over mortals. To prepare for a massive war, players must acquire books of magic and develop their civilization.

Classic turn-based battles are a key feature of the game, and every battle is designed to offer players a unique experience. Age of Wonders 4 is said to be the most extensive in the series to date, with numerous freedom and customization options.

KAKU: Ancient Seal (PS4, PS5)

Release: May 4, 2023

Embark on an exciting adventure as Kaku and restore balance to the land by crossing the four elementary regions of the game world with your faithful pet pig. KAKU: Ancient Seal is an action-packed RPG that takes you to a semi-open fantasy world divided into four large areas.

Each area is designed around one of the four elements, ensuring a varied and exciting experience. Players can customize young Kaku’s weapons, equipment, and skills to suit their playstyle.

Death or Treat (PS5)

Release: May 5, 2023

In Death or Treat, the spirit of Halloween has been dwindling over the years, and the GhostMart is on the brink of collapse. Schaurig, the owner, sets out to save Halloween by starting the company FaceBoo!

A classic 2D action roguelite and hack & slash game, Death or Treat is a challenging and captivating game with hand-drawn graphics. Players can explore different worlds and face numerous enemies, using different weapons and abilities to defeat them.

Demon Skin (PS4, PS5)

Release: May 5, 2023

For gamers seeking a dark and thrilling experience, Demon Skin is worth a closer look. In this action RPG, darkness threatens the world, and only the Order of the Wanderers can stop the menace. Players must help a member of the Order regain his former self after being turned into a demon while trying to stop a ritual.

The game’s combat system is sophisticated, allowing players to adopt different combat stances and unleash devastating finishing moves. With access to over 30 weapons, each designed to give an edge against specific enemies, players can uncover all sorts of secrets hidden throughout the game world.

REQUISITION VR: Home Alone (PS5)

Release: May 4, 2023

In addition to the above titles, REQUISITION VR: Home Alone is also slated for release on May 4, 2023.  Immerse yourself in a thrilling and adrenaline-pumping experience with Requisition VR, a gripping 4-player online co-op survival game set in an apocalyptic world. Whether you choose to play alone or with friends, you must run, fight, and do whatever it takes to stay alive.

Discover abandoned houses and territories, and scavenge for essential supplies and weapons that will help you survive. From guns to knives, and even objects as simple as a toaster or screwdriver, you can craft whatever weapons you need to defend yourself against the dangers of this post-apocalyptic world.

In conclusion, PlayStation 4 and 5 gamers have an exciting week ahead of them with these five new releases to choose from. Which game will you choose to play?
