Get ready for a festival experience like no other as Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios unleash the “SoLA” expansion for the hit action RPG Dead Island 2. Arriving on April 17th, this chilling new chapter transports players to the ultimate Californian music festival, where a deadly virus has turned revelers into ravenous zombies.

Once the pulsating heart of LA’s rave scene, SoLA has become a rotting crater of gore, its vibrant energy replaced by an otherworldly presence known as the Autophage. As an enigmatic warning message lures them to the festival’s ruins, players must explore the visceral, gore-drenched remains and put a stop to this malevolent force before its haunting beat spreads across the world, turning the living into the undead.

The “SoLA” expansion promises a host of new horrors, including formidable apex variant enemies driven mad by the Autophage. The Whipper, a nightmarish amalgamation of disemboweled intestines, can lash out at unsuspecting survivors from a distance.

Meanwhile, the unsettling Clotter can decompose into a revolting pile of gore, rendering it immune to damage before reforming to continue its relentless assault, capable of firing powerful jets of putrid blood.

To combat these new threats, players will have access to a fearsome arsenal of legendary weapons. The Ripper, a deadly fusion of a baseball bat and circular saw, is a percussive machine of dismemberment, while the Sawblade Launcher allows for ranged decapitation and dismemberment by firing rotary sawblades at the undead masses.

Are you ready to lose yourself to the beat?

Originally released to critical acclaim in 2022, Dead Island 2 has captivated players with its over-the-top zombie slaying action and dark humor. This latest expansion promises to take the carnage to new heights, blending the iconic festival atmosphere with the game’s signature gory combat.

As survivors descend upon the ruins of SoLA, they’ll experience a twisted fusion of pulsating music and undead mayhem, fighting to survive against the tide of zombies and uncover the sinister secrets behind the Autophage’s haunting beat. With its unique setting and terrifying new enemies, the “SoLA” expansion is poised to deliver an unforgettable and utterly visceral experience for Dead Island 2 fans.

“Dive back into the zombie-infested chaos with our Dead Island 2: SoLa DLC review. Experience new weapons, mutated enemies, and the sinister beats of the festival grounds in this thrilling expansion.”
