In the vast and immersive world of Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes, players will embark on an epic journey across the continent of Allraan, recruiting a mighty force to stand against the Galdean Empire. As the hours of exploration and backtracking pile up, the need for a convenient fast travel system becomes increasingly apparent. Fortunately, the game delivers this feature in an unexpected and delightfully humorous way, tied to a character whose antics are sure to leave a lasting impression.
Enter Carrie, a quirky and endearing hero whose unique ability to teleport serves as the catalyst for unlocking fast travel in Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes. Players will encounter Carrie approximately 10 hours into the game, during their visit to the capital city of Hishan in the Euchrisse region.
Upon arriving in Hishan after their journey through the Treefolk Village, players will not immediately meet Carrie. Instead, they must first attend a crucial meeting with the king of Euchrisse at Hishan Palace. It is only after this pivotal event that Carrie makes her grand, and hilariously clumsy, entrance.
In a series of comical vignettes, Carrie will suddenly appear in three different locations within Hishan, failing spectacularly at her teleportation spell. Players must seek her out and run into her at each of these locations, a task made easier by systematically running through the horizontal walkways of the city.
Once Carrie joins the party’s retinue, the fast travel system is unlocked, allowing players to instantly travel to any previously visited area. While Carrie’s presence is required to progress the main story through Hishan Old Town, she need not be part of the active party to facilitate fast travel. Players can simply select their desired location from the map menu or speak to Carrie back at their headquarters.
Carrie’s unique teleportation magic also makes her a formidable ally in combat, dealing potent blunt damage to foes. Her quirky personality and comedic mishaps add an extra layer of charm to Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes, providing moments of levity amidst the epic adventure.
As players continue their quest to assemble a force capable of toppling the Galdean Empire, Carrie’s ability to traverse the vast continent of Allraan with ease will prove invaluable. Her introduction not only unlocks a crucial gameplay convenience but also injects a dose of humor and endearment into the rich tapestry of Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes.
