Relic Entertainment and Sega Europe have announced that Company of Heroes 3, an upcoming installment in the real-time strategy franchise, will launch on PC via Steam on November 17, 2022. This will bring fans, and newcomers to the series, the biggest and deepest single-player experience in the franchise’s history.
The game will offer four playable factions at launch and two unique single-player experiences, featuring the Italian Dynamic Campaign and the North African Operation.
Players looking forward to getting their hands on Company of Heroes 3 will not have to wait until November to play it. Go to CompanyOfHeroes.com now and join Relic’s community feedback program, COH-Development, and get access to a mission from the newly revealed North African Operation.
Gamers can test Mission Alpha and take command of the infamous Deutsches Afrikakorps (DAK) while attempting to repel the British from their entrenched positions. It is available for free on Steam for one week, from Tuesday, July 12 through July 19.
In contrast to the previously announced Italian Dynamic Campaign, which features an open-world, branching experience, North African Operation is a single-player experience featuring a more classic, narrative design.
Many new mechanics have drastically changed the battlefield in North Africa, in which tank driving allows for rapid, coordinated assaults that overwhelm enemies. In Mission Alpha, powerful Italian units are available for use, such as the Guastatori combat engineers and the L6/40 light tank.

Gamers can also enjoy new innovations geared for the game, such as side armor, enemy vehicle recovery and vehicle towing, allowing repositioning of high-powered artillery, such as the German Flak 36 and the British 17-Pounder.

Gamers now can pre-order Company of Heroes 3 and receive some impressive bonus items to celebrate the launch. The Premium Digital Edition includes the Devil’s Brigade DLC, which features aesthetic elements based on the first elite commando units of World War II.
The Premium Physical Edition comes with the Devil’s Brigade DLC, service medal, pocket compass, collector’s book and more. Both the Premium Physical and Digital Editions would give players access to the first CoH3 expansion, which is coming to Steam in 2023.
