A while ago, a new game from the Polish studio Frozengem, named Dungeons of the Amber Griffin, was unveiled. The developers then introduced the first trailer and received a very warm reception.
However, now the game, which takes us to the fantastic Kashubia region, has been given two new videos with the developers deciding to show the character creator and share a snippet of gameplay.
Dungeons of the Amber Griffin – character creator
The video released gives a glimpse of the nine planned character classes: knight, barbarian, rogue, hunter, druid, priest, mage, battle mage and free peasant.
Gamers can choose their character’s gender and origin, and can also assign two skill points to one of the four available attributes, which are strength, dexterity, intelligence and stamina to determine our prowess against enemies.
The combat system of Dungeons of the Amber Griffin
In the second video, we are shown the basics of the combat system. While the battle doesn’t knock you off your chair, we should note that this is a dungeon crawler title, in which the spectacularity of the fights is more in the background. The snippet is short, and the game is at an early stage of production – we can only wait!
We should also remind you finally that Dungeons of the Amber Griffin is supposed to debut next year. Some time earlier, on October 3 this year the free demo version of the game is likely to be made available during the fall edition of the Steam Next Festival.
