There are potentially a lot of features that the streaming service could introduce. New proposals and concepts appear every day, whereas the platform is quite sparing in announcing whether it is currently working on something, or if all these ideas are simply lost.
What is now known is that Twitch TV is leaning towards a couple of things. First of them is aimed strictly at people watching Twitch streams on their phones. A lot of people have been asking for this, and finally there it is.
Download clips instantly from Twitch
Now, while watching Twitch on mobile devices, as most Twitch users do, people will be able to download clips directly from Twitch TV. What this means is that moderators will have a much harder time removing clips quickly.
Somebody will make a clip, download it right away and save it to their phone. Then it’s an easy way to spread something. Up until now, one had to go to a separate page and use it to download clips.
The moderators of these larger streamers comment that this means forcing a switch of the ability to make clips only for people who have an active subscription.
