Mundfish studio has been ready for another showing of Atomic Heart, so we can today have a peek at impressive gameplay from the game aimed at consoles, PC and Xbox Game Pass. Bioshock series fans must keep this title in mind.
Mundfish found a publisher in September, which also confirmed that production is expected to arrive in the coming months, and over the past few days we have received a definitive release date.
And we can assume that the developers have completed the most important work on the title, since they have started a promotional campaign.
IGN editors have been given the opportunity to showcase gameplay, where we can see a boss fight. This is a start to presenting the adventure, as journalists have compiled a series of footage from Atomic Heart.
Atomic Heart is based in an alternate, retro-futuristic version of the Soviet Union, and gamers will play the role of a secret agent sent to an outpost – its personnel rather unexpectedly suddenly broke communications. It turns out on the spot that the building is being overrun by machines and mutants.
We will see a lot of interesting launches in early 2023, but Atomic Heart could turn out to be one of the more powerful offerings. The game has, after all, been receiving accolades since its first announcement.
