God of War Ragnarok: Staggering Sales Figure Revealed

The much-anticipated game “God of War Ragnarök” has surpassed expectations, selling over eleven million copies in just three months! This phenomenal achievement was confirmed by Sony Santa Monica via a recent tweet. The development team is grateful for the strong support they have received from the gaming community.

It’s worth noting that this game broke first-party records in its first week, with 5.1 million PlayStation players purchasing it between November 9th and 16th. This is a remarkable start, outpacing the launches of other PlayStation studio games.

In the highly competitive gaming market of Great Britain, “God of War Ragnarök” has made a big impact. It sold more units in its first seven days than any other entry in the series, a testament to its popularity.

The game’s success can be attributed to its exceptional reviews and ratings. With 94 points, it is the second-highest rated PlayStation game of 2022, surpassed only by the Soulslike hit “Elden Ring” (96 points). The players also agree, giving the game an average score of 7.9 points.

It’s worth mentioning that the predecessor of this game, released in 2018, has sold 23 million units to date. Sony Santa Monica released this figure in November 2022, five and a half years after its initial release.

With “God of War Ragnarök” already reaching 11 million sales, it’s likely that it will surpass the reboot in the near future, especially if a PC version is released.
