Nintendo has been making waves in the gaming industry with its latest announcement – a collaboration between Splatoon 3 and The Legend of Zelda.
Fans of both games are in for a treat as they will get to experience a special festival where they will have to choose between power, wisdom, and courage – the three pillars of the Triforce.
The Splatoon × The Legend of Zelda festival will commence on Saturday, May 6 at 6.30 PM (Eastern time) and will run until Monday, May 8 at 6.30 PM.
Players will be pitted against each other in a unique setting at Desfiladero Fumarola, where they will battle it out to determine which Triforce element reigns supreme. To make the experience even more exciting, the My Nintendo Store will offer three T-shirts dedicated to the festival.

Splatoon 3 has previously collaborated with another Nintendo game, Pokemon Scarlet and Purple, where the game celebrated its launch with a Pokemon Splatfest.
However, this time, the collaboration is much more extensive, with a fleeting promotion currently available until Sunday, April 16, where players can purchase the game for €39.99 on the Nintendo eShop.
With the launch of Splatoon 3, the mechanics of festivals have changed significantly. For starters, there are now three teams.
Additionally, players can increase their levels before the festival starts by working in Salmon Run to obtain shells that will influence the results of the festival.
The festival itself is divided into two parts. The first part is familiar to players of the previous games, while the second is celebrated with tricolour combats.
In these battles, four players from the leading team will face two players from each of the other two teams. In the Splatoon × The Legend of Zelda festival, players will pledge their allegiance to one of the three Triforce elements and battle it out to determine the ultimate winner.
