In a hilarious turn of events, the comedy film ‘Strays‘ has fetched the top spot on the chart of the ten most-popular films available on Fandango’s transactional digital service, Vudu, for the week ending September 10.

This ‘R’-rated Universal comedy, which premiered on September 5 for premium digital rental and sale, brings a quirky canine tale to life. ‘Strays’ follows the adventures of a fast-talking terrier, voiced by the talented Jamie Foxx, who exposes the true nature of his owner, portrayed by Will Forte, to a naive and lovable pup, voiced by none other than the comedic genius, Will Ferrell. What ensues is an epic and uproarious adventure as the dogs team up for an entertaining quest for revenge.

Turtle Power Holds Strong at No. 2

Securing its position at No. 2 on the chart was Paramount’s ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.’ This film, available for premium rental and sale since September 1, takes audiences on an extraordinary journey as the Turtle brothers venture into the human world to gain acceptance as normal teenagers through acts of heroism.

However, their newfound friend April O’Neil soon leads them into an intense battle against a mysterious crime syndicate and an army of formidable mutants.

Disney-owned Lucasfilm’s ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’ slips from the top spot to No. 3 on the chart. This fifth installment in the beloved ‘Indiana Jones’ franchise, available for digital purchase since August 29, sees the legendary Harrison Ford reprise his iconic role.

In a globetrotting adventure set in 1969, Dr. Jones races against time to retrieve the ancient artifact known as the Archimedes Dial before a former Nazi scientist can alter the course of history.

Monstrous Thrills at No. 4

Maintaining its position at No. 4 on the chart is Warner Bros.’ action-packed thriller ‘Meg 2: The Trench.’ This film, released for premium digital rental and sale on August 25, continues the pulse-pounding saga that began with ‘The Meg’ in 2018.

Jason Statham, joined by global action icon Wu Jing, confronts a frenzy of colossal Megs, including the largest Meg ever encountered, along with a slew of new and menacing sea creatures.

Falling from No. 3 to No. 5 is Universal’s period horror film ‘The Last Voyage of the Demeter,’ available for premium digital rental and sale. This eerie tale, inspired by a chapter from Bram Stoker’s ‘Dracula,’ unveils the ill-fated voyage of a merchant ship carrying 50 enigmatic wooden crates from Carpathia to London, shrouded in dread and mystery.
