Blizzard has given fans an early look at Diablo 4’s upcoming season, named “Season of Blood,” during the Gamescom Opening Night Live event. Season 2 is set to begin on October 17, which is earlier than some might have anticipated.
While it might seem that Blizzard is done making changes to the game until the big pre-season patch, that’s not the case. They are currently working on Patch 1.1.4, and it will be released before the start of Season 2.
Unfortunately, there aren’t many details available about what this patch will bring, but it’s a sign that Blizzard is actively working to improve the game.
Adam Fletcher, the Diablo community lead, confirmed this update on Twitter. Along with news of the patch, he mentioned that more information about Season 2 is on the horizon. This is reassuring, as the Diablo 4 community has been eagerly awaiting new developments.
Recent Changes in Patch 1.1.3
Diablo 4 received its most recent update, version 1.1.3, just a week ago. This patch addressed the issue of excessive crowd control effects. It reduced the instances where players were unable to take action due to the stacking of crowd control effects by monsters. Players have largely appreciated this update, as crowd control problems have been a topic of discussion since the game’s launch.
For those still catching up on their Season 1 battle pass, there’s good news. Prime Gaming members can claim four free tiers to help them progress. Additionally, the 25% extra Gold and XP event is still active, offering an excellent opportunity for players looking to level up their main character or speed up the leveling process for alts. Be sure to take advantage of these benefits if you’re playing Diablo 4.
