In an unexpected act of appreciation, the developers behind the wildly popular game Hogwarts Legacy have announced plans to release a free summer update in 2024, much to the delight of fans.
While specific details remain closely guarded secrets, community manager Chandler Wood hinted that the update will include “additional updates and features” for the smash-hit wizarding world game.
Though some optimistic fans have already begun speculating about potential downloadable content on the horizon, Wood was quick to temper expectations, explaining that the deliberately vague wording was intentional.
“This update is a small way of us showing appreciation to our players for the amazing reception to the game,” Wood tweeted. So rather than substantial new story content, it seems the free gift is meant as a token of gratitude for the fans who have made Hogwarts Legacy an historic success.
