Netflix’s beloved period drama “Bridgerton” has once again captured the hearts of viewers worldwide, as Season 3 of the hit series smashed viewership records in its debut week on the streaming platform.

Part 1 of “Bridgerton” Season 3, which stars Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton as the central couple, racked up a staggering 45 million views in its first seven days, marking the biggest debut for an English TV series on Netflix to date. The season’s stellar performance propelled it to the number one spot in 78 countries and secured a place in the Top 10 list in 92 territories.

The success of Season 3 has also reignited interest in the previous seasons, with Season 1 returning to the Top 10 list at number 4 with 4.5 million views in its tenth week, and Season 2 securing the eighth spot with 3.3 million views in its 16th week on the list. Both seasons are among Netflix’s Top 10 most popular shows of all time, solidifying “Bridgerton” as a cultural phenomenon.

The third season’s premiere not only drew legions of devoted fans but also attracted new audiences to the Regency-era romantic drama. Part 2 of Season 3, set to premiere on June 13, is expected to further heighten the excitement surrounding the series.

Beyond “Bridgerton,” other notable performers on Netflix’s Top 10 lists included the hit thriller “Baby Reindeer,” which secured the third spot for the sixth consecutive week with 7.4 million views, and the debut of “Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies & Scandal” at number 2 with 9.5 million views.

The overwhelming success of “Bridgerton” Season 3 underscores the enduring appeal of period dramas and the power of compelling storytelling. With its captivating characters, lush production values, and steamy romance, the series has captured the imagination of viewers across the globe, cementing its status as a cultural touchstone.
