Fans were not loving the latest season of the critically acclaimed Hulu series “The Bear” as much as the critics. While season 3 won big with the reviewers, scoring a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, audiences only gave it a 55%. Yikes!
People seemed pretty split on where the story went this time around. Many felt like the plot didn’t progress and major cliffhangers were left hanging with no resolution. As someone who binged the first two seasons, I was also hoping for more answers!
But it looks like there may be hope. Word is that seasons 3 and 4 were actually filmed back-to-back, so they’re essentially one long story. This leads me to think the creators have a master plan to tie everything up in the upcoming season.
Fingers crossed we find out what happened with that crucial restaurant review. And that we see where Sydney and Carmy’s journeys lead next. I’m dying to know if The Bear will survive or not!
With the Emmy wins and general buzz, it’s clear this show is a phenomenon. But season 3’s controversial response has put pressure on the creators to stick the landing. They’ll need to not just answer lingering questions, but deliver a fully satisfying conclusion too.
Only time will tell if season 4 can redeem season 3 in the eyes of audiences and cement The Bear as one of TV’s all-time greats. One thing’s for sure – I’ll be tuning in to see how it all goes down!
