The Silent Hill franchise is coming back in a big way thanks to many projects that were revealed this year. Nevertheless, it looks like Konami still has some more cards up its sleeve to surprise fans of the saga.
We’re telling you this because a well-known insider claimed that there are other Silent Hill projects already in development, but which have not been revealed.
Hints emerged this week about Silent Hill: The Short Message, a game which has not yet been revealed. Dusk Golem, according to well-known leaker Dusk Golem, at least 3 other titles besides The Short Message are still under wraps and will be revealed in the future.
This week, Dusk Golem revealed details about Silent Hill: The Short Message on resetera. Surprising everyone, it also revealed more information about the future of the franchise and stated that there are 3 more undisclosed projects that will be coming sooner or later.
Sadly, he did not share many details about the projects nor did he reveal which studios are in charge. In spite of this, he did make it clear that one of the mysterious titles is still a long way off, since its development is at an early stage.
“There are at least 3 Silent Hill projects that have yet to be announced, not including The Short Message. Yes, seriously. But one of them is in very early development,” stated Dusk Golem.
His statements were received with encouragement by the community, as the fans of the saga are very excited for the return of the franchise.
As of now, a list of confirmed projects is already in place, which includes the remake of Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill f, Silent Hill: Townfall and a new movie of the saga.
As of this writing, no further details on the alleged unconfirmed games are available, so we will have to wait for Konami to make a statement on the matter.
