Bungie, the company behind Halo and developers of Destiny, are currently working on “several unannounced projects” with Sony Interactive Entertainment, according to Tom Farnsworth, the head of senior design at the Bellevue, Washington, studio and creative lead on Season of the Seraphim and Destiny 2’s upcoming seasons.
“This shield shows what 11 years at Bungie is all about,” Farnsworth writes on the social network in a message to which he attached a photo of a shield featuring all the projects he’s worked on: expansions, expansions and Destiny Seasons. “Each medal represents one of the more than 25 Destiny releases we’ve distributed to millions of players.”

Sony to buy Bungie in 2022 to power its games as a service
Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the purchase of Bungie for $ 3600 million in January 2022, a deal that was formalized in July.

One of these is a new IP from Bungie, which will continue to release multiplatform titles and operate in parallel to the PlayStation Studios teams, but offer them support in the continuously updated experiences that firms such as Naughty Dog, haven Studios and Guerrilla Games are working on.

Some time ago, Bungie stated its intention to expand on different fronts. On one hand, having in its catalog more video games as a service other than Destiny; for this purpose it received in 2018 an important sum from NetEase Gmes.
Secondly, expanding the universe of Destiny and its future works to other entertainment media, such as TV and film, strategy that SIE is also following, so synergies with the creators of Halo are clear.
