It’s a control option that offers players a range of choices, with ten different levels of assistance on a slider. The default setting, based on previous games, starts at Level 10, providing the highest level of assistance. Players can then choose to reduce this assistance to make web-swinging more challenging.
While Stevenson’s explanation clarifies the purpose of Swing Assist, it’s worth noting that higher values on the slider will make web-swinging easier, while lower values will introduce more resistance and incorporate physics to a greater extent, making the experience more challenging.

Interestingly, Spider-Man 2 introduces a significant gameplay change from its predecessors. Unlike the previous two Spider-Man games, this sequel will include fall damage. This means that players can’t simply leap off towering skyscrapers without consequences.
