We last heard about the mysterious Project L this past fall. For the record, it will be a fighting game set in the League of Legends universe, which is being developed by the Riot Games team.

Now the developers have decided to finally break their silence and share some new information with players. First of all, they have announced that Project L is going to be a completely free-to-play (F2P) game. Furthermore, we found out that the list of playable characters will include the Kraken Priestess Illaoi.

The powerful physique of Illaoi is overshadowed only by her steadfast faith. As the prophet of the Great Kraken, she uses a large golden statue to tear the souls of her enemies from their bodies, and thus disrupt their perception of reality.

Anyone who dares to defy the “Harbinger of Truth Nagakabourossa” will shortly find that Illaoi never fights alone – the goddess of the Snake Islands fights by her side.

According to the information released, Project L is going to be a fighting game that has an assistant system. Gamers will control as many as two fighters simultaneously, whom they will be able to use alternately.

The controls has been described as “easy to learn, difficult to master,” which means that everyone should be able to have fun with this title, but only a few will be able to make it to tournament level.

Back in November, an announcement was made that we would get more information about this title in mid-2022. Well, that time has just arrived – hopefully, the video released is just a seed of what the developers have prepared for players.

Project L’s release date is still unknown. Nevertheless, feel free to share the names of the characters you think should not be missing from this production. Have a look below at what the creators have to say in the latest video.
