The Kingdom series will have its own video game. As announced by the Netflix platform, Kingdom: The Blood from studio Action Square is going to be released for PC and mobile devices. While a release date hasn’t been announced yet, we do have a first trailer.
This popular Korean series is all set in medieval Korea during a zombie apocalypse. Playing as Prince Lee Chang, players not only try to survive the plague of the undead, but also uncover the secret of the mysterious disease that has afflicted the king.
Kingdom: The Blood is going to feature a single-player campaign, where we create our own character and fight our way through the enemies in the third-person perspective in the familiar locations from the series, with a sword in hand. There are also plans for online battles.
This all looks a bit like a combination of Ghost of Tsushima and Nioh, and topped off with some thick zombie sauce.
Currently, Netflix offers two seasons of Kingdom, and it also has a special episode. Currently, it’s unclear if there will be a third season – the second season was broadcast on March 13, 2020, just before the pandemic outbreak.
