In order to give you a better idea of how you’ll actually spend your time in the beautiful outdoors of Call of the Wild: The Angler before buying it, its creators have released an explanatory video with gameplay footage.

Thanks to the new footage, you will discover a wealth of options for upgrading your gear and fashion choices. Navigate through the vast area from behind the wheel of a jeep to a boat.

And with up to 12 players per map, unless you choose to go solo, you can also transport and fish with friends or random passers-by.

This video also breaks down the various fishing techniques and systems the game uses to try to simulate the sport to some extent.

There is plenty of room for error, and only the patient and accurate fishermen can boast about their catch after a day on the water.

Call of the Wild: The Angler will be released on 31 August on PC and has a price tag of $30. Are you going to play this game or not? Let us know in the comments below.
