If there is one brand that deserves a real-life remake, it is most definitely Max Payne. In fact, fans of the series were delighted to hear recent news about the development of revamped versions of Max Payne 1 and 2, which Remedy is now working on.
The project being developed for the PS5 and XSX, however, is only in the concept stage and we will wait many more years for it.
With the very long wait for a remake of Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, series fans are already beginning to dream about what such a project might look like.
In recent months, a group of Max Payne enthusiasts, who in recent months have created, among other things, an amazing vision of what The Witcher 4 and Grand Theft Auto 6 might look like, this time took on the memorable 2003 shooter from the Remedy studio.

In its conceptual trailer, the TeaserPlay team presents what a remake of Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne could look like today, had the graphics been done by a team with an AAA-caliber budget.
TeaserPlay, as always, used tools from the Unreal Engine 5 suite in its presentations, making use of Metahuman and Lumen solutions, among others.
“Max Payne Remake was officially announced a few months ago. We tried to represent in our vision the fans’ expectations for graphical quality in such a project, using Unreal Engine 5. When making Max Payne’s face, we used Metahuman, based on the appearance of James McCaffrey, the actor who voices the character. It is still unknown what the protagonist’s face will look like in the official release of the remake.”
As is usually the case with its projects, TeaserPlay recalls that this is only a fan’s conceptual vision, and will not be turned even the slightest bit into a playable piece of code.
Previously, in July, Teaser Play had presented its vision for a remake of the first Max Payne. Watch the trailers and let us know what you think about them in the comments below.
