It was officially confirmed this week that soon Monster Hunter Rise will make its debut on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. In the meantime, further information about the upcoming versions of the said production has hit the net.

Indeed, it has been revealed that in the latest installment of the Monster Hunter series, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X owners will get a choice of two graphical modes.

As reported on the Xbox brand’s official website and the PlayStation blog, for Monster Hunter Rise, holders of the latest Sony and Microsoft consoles will have the option to opt for 4K gameplay and 60 frames per second, or opt for higher animation fluidity – 120 FPS – at 1080p.

Sadly, though, the Microsoft has not revealed how Capcom’s production will work on the Xbox Series S. Lastly, recall that Monster Hunter Rise is currently available on PC and the Nintendo Switch console.

As announced, Capcom’s production will debut on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on January 20, 2023. On the same day, that game will also hit the Xbox Game Pass service.
