Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake: Latest Rumors and Speculations

Metal Gear Solid fans have been eagerly anticipating a remake of Naked Snake’s iconic adventures for the past three years. With more and more rumors circulating, it seems that their long wait may finally be over.

The latest person to add fuel to the fire is Andy Robinson, the head of the VGC portal. He took to Twitter to share some tantalizing information that he had heard through the grapevine.

Robinson’s tweet stated that Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake is planned for release next year, with the game’s marketing campaign set to be unveiled at the June E3 conference.

Furthermore, Konami is reportedly considering various types of ports and remasters of older titles. While Robinson spoke with a degree of uncertainty, his confidence in his sources suggested that there may be some truth to the rumors.

MGS3 remake is now a 2024 title and there's still talk of MGS re-releases of some kind. E3 window was their marketing plan, last I heard. https://t.co/Euaw3iEdrN

It’s worth noting that Robinson’s information may already be outdated, as plans in the video game industry often change rapidly.

However, with multiple sources hinting at a Metal Gear Solid revival, fans are cautiously optimistic about the future of the franchise.

Virtuos Montreal, a game development studio, has been linked to potential Metal Gear Solid projects, with Konami named as one of their clients on their website. Some of their recruitment videos also reference the series’ iconic stealth gameplay.

The voice actor of Raiden also teased the return of Snake, adding further fuel to the rumor mill. Meanwhile, Konami has teased that “we will hear more about the future of our favorite series” this year, although it’s unclear which titles they are referring to.

Overall, Metal Gear Solid fans have reason to be excited about the future of the franchise. While rumors and speculations can be misleading, the increasing amount of chatter about a potential remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 suggests that there may be some truth to the rumors.

With an official announcement possibly just around the corner, fans eagerly await any new developments on the franchise’s future.
