The popular video game series, Twisted Metal, is set to come to life on the small screen in a new TV adaptation set to debut in July 2023.
Fans of the game have been eagerly awaiting news on the series, and Sony has finally given them something to be excited about with the release of the first trailer and a confirmed release date.
The series will follow the story of John Doe, an amnesiac milkman who is tasked with delivering a mysterious package through a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
Along the way, he must face off against bandits and Agent Stone, who is determined to restore order to the chaotic world. Luckily, he has the help of Quiet, a car thief who becomes an unlikely ally in his journey.

The trailer also reveals the return of Sweet Tooth, the iconic character from the video game series, who will be brought to life by two actors, Samoa Joe and Will Arnett. Anthony Mackie takes on the lead role of John Doe, and fans of the Marvel franchise will recognize him from his role as Falcon.
