Yesterday’s surprising discovery on Reddit brought the attention of eager fans to a leaked gameplay video of Payday 3, providing an enticing glimpse into an intense bank heist. The footage, spanning 18 minutes of raw, uncut gameplay, made its brief appearance on YouTube late in the evening, only to be promptly taken down a few hours later.
The leaked Payday 3 gameplay video plunges viewers right into the heart of the action, capturing the initial moments of a meticulously planned bank heist. Beginning on the roof, the criminal crew employs stealth tactics to disable the bank’s security systems.
However, the tension quickly escalates as a vigilant guard discovers the intruders, exposing the difficulties inherent in executing a silent mission as a group of four robbers.
Hostages, Police Siege, and Chaotic Firefights in Payday 3
As the gameplay video unfolds, fans familiar with the Payday series will find themselves in familiar territory. The situation intensifies as the criminals take hostages, intending to use them as bargaining chips while the police steadily close in on the besieged bank—a notable new feature in Payday 3.
Desperately striving to complete their objectives before the bank falls under siege, the robbers engage in a relentless battle against the encroaching law enforcement, leading to chaotic firefights and gripping moments of high-stakes action.
Resource scarcity adds an extra layer of tension to Payday 3. In the leaked gameplay, ammunition is not limitless, emphasizing the importance of strategic resource management. Players can find designated areas on the map, such as ammunition lockers, to replenish their supplies.
Notably, accessing these lockers and other containers presents an additional challenge through a lockpicking minigame that demands precise timing—a feat made all the more daunting in the midst of intense firefights.
