Modern Warfare 3, the latest installment in the popular first-person shooter series, is celebrating its recent launch with a special event offering double XP across multiple aspects of the game. This event marks the first “double everything” occurrence for the game, reflecting the developers’ enthusiasm over the title’s successful debut.
The double XP event begins today, November 22, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM UK time, coinciding with the game’s daily reset schedule. It will extend until Monday, November 27, providing players with ample opportunity to accelerate their progress.
During this period, gamers will enjoy double the usual amount of character XP, weapon XP, and battle pass XP, applicable across all platforms. This universally applied event means that all players will automatically receive the boosted rewards, aiding in quicker leveling and progression.
Gearing Up for Season 1
In addition to the double XP event, Sledgehammer Games has announced the commencement of Season 1 on December 6, slightly over a week following the conclusion of the double XP period. This upcoming season is highly anticipated by the community and will introduce new elements to the game.
Among the anticipated features is the return of Gun Game, a fan-favorite mode known for its less competitive, yet equally engaging gameplay. This mode offers a break from the standard multiplayer challenges and adds variety to the gaming experience.
The timing of the double XP event is strategic, allowing players to rapidly advance and prepare for the new season. It’s an opportunity for gamers to level up their characters, master new weapons, and progress through the battle pass at an accelerated pace. Such events are a staple in the world of online multiplayer games, fostering engagement and keeping the community active and excited for upcoming content.
