Disney fans rejoice – soon you’ll be able to step into the wondrous world of Monsters Inc. within the pixie-dusted realm of Disney Dreamlight Valley.
On February 28th, the highly anticipated The Laugh Floor update will transport players to a new Monstropolis-themed area brimming with adventure, quests, and costumes to unlock. This free expansion adds a door inside Dream Castle that leads directly to the iconic Laugh Floor from the hit Pixar film.
Once inside, you’ll join Mike Wazowski and James P. “Sulley” Sullivan on a journey to collect laughter energy. By making kids laugh, you’ll help power Monstropolis and complete new story missions. And what better way to get silly than by becoming a monster yourself?
The update introduces fantastical skin tones, eye colors, ears, and face paint options to fully embrace your inner monster. These zany new cosmetics will be key to completing The Laugh Floor questlines.
Beyond the main content, players can adorn their valley with lovely and retro Monsters Inc. decor from the new Star Path. And fan-favorite outfits like Boo’s precious onesie pajamas and a sushi counter themed after Harryhausen’s will be up for grabs in the Premium Shop.
With long-requested quality of life improvements like name changes also included, The Laugh Floor update looks to be a monstrous good time. Disney Dreamlight Valley continues to expand, bringing more animated magic into its growing virtual Disney Parks experience.
