For fans of the popular Picross puzzle game series, Jupiter Corporation has announced an exciting new addition to the Nintendo Switch lineup – Picross S Namco Legendary Edition. Slated for release on May 30, 2024, this exclusive digital title promises to deliver a nostalgic trip down memory lane, featuring iconic characters and franchises from the legendary Namco catalog.

With over 30 Namco titles represented and a staggering collection of more than 500 puzzles, Picross S Namco Legendary Edition is set to become a must-have for both puzzle enthusiasts and retro gaming aficionados alike. The extensive list of featured games includes beloved classics such as Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, and The Tower of Druaga, among many others.

Faithful to the Picross S series, the Namco Legendary Edition will offer four distinct game modes to cater to players of all skill levels. The traditional Picross mode, along with the challenging Mega Picross, the colorful Color Picross, and the bite-sized Clip Picross, will all be present, ensuring a diverse and engaging gaming experience.

Moreover, the game will include a special “Extra” bonus content section, further enhancing the value proposition for dedicated Picross fans.

Priced at a reasonable $10.99 / €10.99 / £9.89, Picross S Namco Legendary Edition follows in the footsteps of the well-received Picross S Mega Drive & Master System edition, which celebrated the iconic Sega franchises in a similar fashion.

As the Nintendo Switch enters its twilight years, this latest addition to the exclusive lineup serves as a testament to the console’s enduring appeal and the continued support from third-party developers.

Picross S Namco Legendary Edition

With highly anticipated titles such as Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Remake, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, and Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition on the horizon, the Switch continues to offer a diverse and enticing catalog for gamers of all ages and preferences.

While the June Nintendo Direct is expected to shed more light on the Switch’s remaining years, including updates on eagerly awaited titles like Metroid Prime 4, Professor Layton and the New World of Steam, and Pokemon Legends: Z-A, Picross S Namco Legendary Edition stands as a celebration of gaming’s rich heritage, inviting players to explore the iconic Namco universe through the addictive and engaging lens of Picross puzzles.
