Lionsgate and Fathom Entertainment will bring the five Twilight films back to theaters October 29 through November 2 to mark the 20th anniversary of Stephenie Meyer’s first novel, with new roundtable bonus content featuring Meyer and key producers. A teaser on the franchise’s official social channels this week preceded the announcement.
The reissue rolls out one title per night: Twilight on October 29, New Moon on October 30, Eclipse on October 31, Breaking Dawn Part 1 on November 1, and Breaking Dawn Part 2 on November 2. Exhibitor listings show tickets available for the staggered run across major chains as part of Fathom’s Fan Favorite series.
The timing aligns with the original publication of Twilight on October 5, 2005, and positions the marathon squarely in the Halloween corridor, a window that has favored franchise repertory programming in recent years. Lionsgate has controlled the property since acquiring Summit Entertainment in 2012, and the studio is leaning into anniversary-driven eventizing that has helped fill multiplex calendars with targeted fan fare.
The saga’s theatrical return arrives with a built-in audience: the five films have generated more than $3.3 billion worldwide since 2008, and continue to circulate widely on streaming and social platforms. Marketing materials revive the “Forever Begins Again” tagline shared on the official accounts as ticketing goes live market by market.
