The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards have unveiled an initial slate of nearly 40 presenters and a handful of playful mini-reunions ahead of Sunday’s telecast, which airs live coast-to-coast at 8 p.m. ET from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles with Nate Bargatze hosting. Organizers also confirmed broadcast and streaming details for CBS and Paramount+, setting the stage for a star-driven ceremony built around nostalgia and current hits.
Among the presenters are Angela Bassett, Jude Law, Stephen Colbert, Kathy Bates, Tina Fey, James Marsden, Jennifer Coolidge and Colman Domingo, alongside pairings aimed at sparking fan recognition, including Alexis Bledel with Lauren Graham and Jenna Ortega with Catherine Zeta-Jones. The list spans veterans and recent nominees across comedy, drama and limited series, with additional names such as Kristen Bell, Sterling K. Brown, Lauren Graham, Kathryn Hahn, Mariska Hargitay, Justin Hartley, Charlie Hunnam and Christopher Meloni.
The Television Academy has set this year’s Bob Hope Humanitarian Award for Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen, noting the couple’s decades of philanthropic work; the honor will be presented during the live telecast. Behind the scenes, Jesse Collins Entertainment returns to produce, and the Academy’s Foundation announced its 2025 interns will participate on show night as trophy presenters and in other capacities across the awards footprint.
This year’s nominations field includes leaders such as Severance, The Penguin, The White Lotus and The Studio, reflecting a slate that mixes returning favorites with newer entrants. The presenter lineup mirrors that range, drawing from broadcast stalwarts, prestige cable titles and streaming breakouts while leaning into recognizable on-screen partnerships to keep the show lively between competitive categories. With red-carpet programming rolling into the primetime broadcast, organizers are signaling a fast, audience-friendly show that balances awards business with moments designed for social media circulation.
