Bravo has closed its investigation into the leaked Summer House Season 10 reunion audio, finding that the recording came from a person involved in production and clearing the cast of involvement. The network said the audio was recorded and distributed without authorization, and that “appropriate action has been taken.”
The leak surfaced after the cast taped the reunion on April 23 in New York, sending clips across social media before the episodes had aired. In its statement, Bravo called the incident a breach of trust affecting the cast, crew and production process, then warned platforms and users against sharing additional audio that it said had been improperly obtained.
The audio drew attention because it captured a heated exchange tied to Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s relationship, a storyline that has already reshaped the season’s off-camera drama. Ciara Miller, Wilson’s ex and Batula’s former close friend, confronted Batula in the clip and called her a “snake,” accusing her of denying the relationship after rumors began spreading.
Andy Cohen, who hosted the taping, criticized the leak soon after it spread. He said cast members had spent ten hours filming an emotional reunion and called the distribution of the recording “disgusting and illegal.” Cohen also said the leak disrespected the work and emotion put into the taping, urging viewers to let the season air as planned.
The incident places Bravo in a difficult spot familiar to reality television: online leaks can fuel fan interest while undercutting the network’s control over its biggest reveals. In this case, the finding that a production-side individual was responsible shifts scrutiny away from the cast, whose personal conflicts had quickly become the focus of fan speculation.
Part 1 of the Summer House Season 10 reunion is scheduled to air May 26, with Part 2 set for June 2. New episodes continue airing Tuesdays on Bravo, with next-day streaming on Peacock.
