Prime Video’s college hockey romance Off Campus has barely finished its first season, and its star is already talking about what comes next. Antonio Cipriano, who plays brooding right wing John Logan, confirmed the romance audiences have been waiting for will begin taking shape in Season 2 — and production kicks off today.
Filming is scheduled to run from June 1 through September 18, 2026, in Vancouver, with North Shore Studios serving as one of the primary locations. The season centers on Dean Di Laurentis and Allie Hayes — the pairing from Elle Kennedy’s third book, The Score — but the show is skipping ahead of Logan and Grace’s book, The Mistake, while still threading their romance into the season.
In a recent interview, Cipriano explained the deliberate pacing of Logan’s arc. “I’m glad that you don’t see him in love in the first season,” he said. “I think it’s cool that you get to know who he is as a person and the struggles that he’s going through, so that when that comes in, when you meet Grace and when he gets to do that, she gets to take down his walls, and you get to see even more of that.”
India Fowler — known for Fear Street: Prom Queen and Showtime’s spy drama The Agency — has been cast as Grace Ivers, a freshman sociology major at Briar University. Cipriano described the casting process as competitive but decisive. He read with “three amazing and completely individual, different versions of Grace,” but said Fowler’s instinctive quirkiness clinched it — a quality the show’s co-showrunners noted during chemistry reads, saying she had “no idea what’s going to come out of her mouth next,” which Cipriano called “so Grace.”
Hamilton originator Phillipa Soo also joins the season in a recurring role as Scarlett, a theater artist guest-directing an original play for the college’s drama department.
The show enters Season 2 from a position of rare strength. Season 1 smashed Prime Video’s viewing records, securing a top-three debut for any installment ever on the platform. The format is designed so that each of the four core Briar U hockey teammates eventually leads his own romantic storyline across future seasons. No Season 3 greenlight has been announced, though the expectation is that each player will ultimately get his own arc, with additional characters from Kennedy’s broader book universe potentially drawn in over time.
